You have been working in this environment for a while and want to be involved in the development of semantically high-grade IIoT interfaces following the OPC UA standard? Another challenge is the performant acquisition and secure storage of the collected data. You should also focus on the providing of data for apps and analytics.

What to bring: 

  • Finished academic studies or vocational training in computer science, software engineering, or similar

  • Analytical ability to reason and structured approach to problem-solving

  • Relevant experience as an IIoT backend developer

  • Hands-on experience in developing and operating IIoT interfaces

  • Very good understanding of standards in the IIoT field: RAMI4, OPC UA, or similar

  • Knowledge of test-driven development

  • Very high consciousness for quality

  • Good command of English
     

 You’ll work in this environment:

  • Large scale, distributed system adhering to the microservices architectural pattern

  • Serverless Python environment based on AWS Lambda

  • Use-case dependent persistency like SQL and NoSQL databases as well as object stores

  • Communication with internal and third-party systems via synchronous HTTP REST APIs and asynchronous message-oriented mechanisms

  • CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Serverless framework

  • Modern, cloud-native development in AWS

  • Agile and dedicated team with open-minded colleagues of varying professions
