Working student/ Trainee (f/m/d) UI/UX-Design

About the company

Are you looking for a new challenge in the field of UI/UX design?

You don't feel like gaining professional experience during your studies that won't help you to advance (unless you want to become a barista)? Do you want to be responsible for tasks that have a real impact on the development of the company? Do you want to be able to contribute and implement your ideas? Are you open to a table tennis match or some other fun?

Then you've come to the right place!

Your tasks:

Since our creative minds are constantly coming up with new, exciting tasks and projects, your duties will be very varied, but not so easy to describe. Nevertheless, we'll give you a short overview:

  • You create concepts and designs for the applications of our platform

  • You optimize our platform for all common devices (desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone)

  • You collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary product teams

  • You will help to build a design system for our platform

  • You will conduct usability tests and other evaluation methods to improve the products

  • You will have the freedom to develop yourself and our business - you can and should create, bring in your ideas and take on responsibility

What you should bring:

We don't want to prescribe anything for you, because the most important thing is that

  • you want to make a difference and enrich our team with your character

  • you are "on fire" for the topics of user experience and design and have already designed your first digital products, which means you are familiar with prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.

We offer you:

  • A great and challenging project

  • Working in a young team without corporate constraints

  • Contribute, create, and make things happen instead of contract work

  • Flexible working hours and innovative working methods

  • Possibility of remote work/home office

  • Modern office directly at the OTH Amberg-Weiden – location Weiden, in the heart of the Upper Palatinate region

  • 4-day week (with normal 5-day salary)

Your advantages:

  • Working in a solidly funded startup and helping to build and grow it up from the bottom

  • Assumption of responsibility right from the start

  • Flexibility, openness, fun

  • Letting go of ingrained routines and hierarchies

Just apply with a little insight into your portfolio and then we might get to know each other soon.
